It’s a brave new world!

After the last few weeks, I have to say it has been an amazing journey. The path of self exploration is not one to be taken lightly. I have been lucky to be surrounded by kind and good hearted friends and strangely enough, the most interesting feedback has come from strangers. I was granted the chance to meet and greet some of the finest people in the world. Friends from all around the world, specifically from Central and South America. Ladies with a grand heart and the certainty that we are in this world to make it better. They all seem to be very keen on enhancing their lives with a great passion for food for the soul and nurturing embrace for the belly.

I could feel myself through their passionate discussions about healing ourselves with food, finding passion through a cookbook and creating one’s self respect through the walking shoes of a health coach. I got to know these magnificent group of women through a life changing event: an IIN LIVE CONFERENCE at none other than NEW YORK CITY.  The crowd was roaring and I was over joyed by the excitement and pure fascination of the more than 2,000 people eager to change the world through Health Coaching.

I was wooed by the story of one the speakers who told her story in the most honest way. Her pains seemed to be shared by thousand silent voices and one of them seemed to be my own. I googled (of course!) about the main topic of discussion and found myself appealed and fascinated by the topic: CELIAC’S DISEASE. And now, a week after, I have found myself rumaging through my new books looking for gluten-free and vegan menus. And, ALAS! I found a recipe for VGF CHOCOLATE CHIP cookies!!! And so, I baked and waited… for 30 minutes 🙂 And I got my wonderful cookies and at the end of the crumbs I found an extremely happy inner child and a brave new world.

My health is at the tip of fingers and I can cook, experiment and become my own doctor when I listen closely to my body. My aha moments are more frequent can I could every imagine and I am officially half way there. The world is an amazing place.
